The Learning Advantage - Work Well Live @ Explorium
Work Well Live @ Explorium - Review
Our most recent Work Well Live gathering took place at Explorium, Ireland’s National Sport and Science Centre. What an evening it was! If you were there, you know. If you didn’t make it… oh dear! You definitely missed out on a fantastic night of learning, networking, and hands-on fun. I've got you covered though. In this article, you’ll find:
✅ A brief event summary

The Learning Advantage - Panel Summary
A special thanks to our panelists, Anne Farrell (CIE Group) and Kate Fitzmaurice (Vodafone) for sharing their expertise and experiences on fostering wellbeing through education, awareness, and practical initiatives.
🎤 Anne Farrell (CIE Group)
Anne highlighted the importance of including men in women’s health conversation. With 89% of CIE Group’s workforce being male, Anne spoke about the success of their recent menopause awareness initiatives. Anne also highlighted their inclusive approach to learning with all role types, shift patterns and learning styles considered when rolling out a programme. Anne emphasised the importance of the in-person aspect to training at CIE Group.
🎤 Kate Fitzmaurice (Vodafone)
Kate spoke about how Vodafone’s spirit behaviour to 'experiment and learn fast' and an always growing mindset, shapes their approach to learning, ensuring employees have the autonomy and resources to try and test new supports. This includes:
✅ Partnering with Kara Connect for proactive support
✅ HI Digital – a programme designed for anyone who needs a bit of help developing their digital skills, enabling employees to find purpose by giving back to those less digitally savvy
✅ Quiet floor– Vodafone has introduced a quiet floor for neurodivergent colleagues who may prefer a low-stimulation environment
✅ AI training– Vodafone are placing a huge emphasis on AI and how it can positively impact on workload and time management. 'AI won't take your job, somebody using AI will take your job'!
Location, Location, Location
A massive shout out to JeNae, Cecilia, Venetia, and the fantastic team at Explorium for hosting us in what was easily our most fun venue to date! The setting was truly spectacular, and our attendees had an unforgettable experience—trying out an F1 simulator, a 360 G-Force Bike, and even a bed of nails! Two things to draw your attention to:
